News

Results - Saturday 27th Feb
Only 1 game survived the weather last week. Well done to the 4s, stuffing top of the table and rivals Ravenscroft on a muddy surface to maintain their promotion push. Special mention to James Lindie who scored by all accounts a "wondergoal" - length of the pitch run and strike.

Gentlemen's eve
Our 4th gentlemen's evening took place on the 6th Feb and a great night was had by all. An informal evening with curry and quiz helped us raise much needed funds for the club and enjoyed a night out with our team mates. Special mention goes to the 1st XI for being victorious in the quiz and to Jason and Dai for organising the food which by all accounts was a big improvement on previous years. We look forward to seeing everyone support the club again at the end of season dinner.

Season update
At almost the half way stage of the season all teams are well set to make a push for some silverware. The 1st team are 6th with games in hand that could lift them up to 3rd and the 2nds are locked in what looks like a three way fight for top place in their league and have a third round cup tie to look forward to in January. Both the 3s and 5s are challenging in the top half of their divisions and the 4s are one of the form teams after a difficult start. See the links on the team pages for the latest league tables.

The top scorer competition is really hotting up with Billy Farmer currently leading the way, closely followed by Aaron Robinson and Phil Hartley.
