100 Club

Latymer Old Boys Football Club, like many other Clubs, cannot survive on annual subscriptions and match fees alone. To help raise funds it operates a 100 Club Monthly Draw. To enter you need to purchase shares, via a monthly standing order against your bank account, which are entered into a monthly prize draw. Shares cost £5 each and the number you can purchase is unlimited although we recommend just one but no more than two. In January 2009 there were 45 shares sold and monthly prizes were set at £50, £40 and £30. Each year, in December, these monthly prizes are trebled. As more shares are purchased prize money is increased. Of the current £2400 currently raised just under £1300 is paid out each year. Winners are notified via the Clubhouse notice board, LOB News, and by post.

To purchase shares simply download and complete the Standing Order Mandate (pdf). In the first paragraph enter the number of shares you wish to purchase and the month and year you want the mandate to start. Please allow three months for the arrangement to be set up with your bank. Please print your name and address, including post code, sign and date the request in the appropriate boxes.

Alongside the box labelled THE SUM OF please write the amount in both numbers first, then words, of the amount to be transferred each month. Also write the month and year the mandate is to start.

In the appropriate boxes below please clearly print your ACCOUNT NAME and ACCOUNT NUMBER and again sign and date the form. Finally in the last box please clearly print the FULL postal address of your bank or building society.
