Well what can I say about the 2XI this year, well getting promotion has    ballooned their ego's enough, so I won't go on too much, but in the words of Vinnie Jones "It's been emotional". Coming so so close to winning the league, which we would have done if it wasn't for our Right Back's Mike Wilson & Dave Wilson's hospital pass backs and our Keeper Gibbo, more concerned about his nan winning the Grand National. Our Center backs Cieran, Mike & Vim constantly being injured, Our left back was pretty awesome!! Can't knock him!! Our Midfield, Liam "I need another alcoholic beverage soon " Fossey, Alan "I've got another Wedding to go to" Scott and Hugo "Please no more injections "Palmer. Our Front line Joe "Adam don't you dare kick a bottle at me" Lawrence, Billy "No you can take this penalty" Farmer and not forgetting our player of the season Mr Aaron "(This will go on too long so I won't bother)" Robinson. However apart from throwing it all away in the last 3 games, we had a great season. Not only promotion but reaching the Quarter final of the cup, losing to the eventual winners, but beating 2 teams two divisions above us on the way. At the beginning of the season certainly not everyone knew eachother, but as each game went on the sexy football started to show and we all became (reasonably) good mates and the season ended with our best performance of the season on a Saturday night in Islington. Apparently Aaron Robinson is going to a farm this weekend to prove to me he can actually hit a barn door!! Adam Barnes, 2nd XI Captain
